Lillian M. Sowalski’s award–winning interiors can be found throughout eastern Connecticut including commercial projects such as Lawrence Memorial Hospital’s doctor’s offices, the Salem School and the Spa at Norwich Inn. Residential projects include most recently a Manhattan, NY project, the condominiums at Shaw’s Landing in New London, CT and various private residences throughout Connecticut, Massachusetts and Florida.
Lillian has a great working relationship with Petrit Marku and his brothers at A Beautiful Painting and Remodeling Co. Their most recent collaboration involved the design of their new showroom on 15 Shaw Street in New London which is a testament to their fine craftsmanship with woodworking, stonework, painting and other services that they provide, combined with Lillian’s design elements, color, and accents which make you feel “at home” the moment you walk through the door.
Lillian will transform any space, both traditional and non-traditional. One project included the redesign of a yacht interior. Another was a geo-thermal home in Storrs, CT which exceeded both the builder’s and the client’s expectations by ensuring that the Tuscan theme flowed throughout the entire home with Lillian’s selections in elegant window treatments, rich colors, design accents and furniture selections. The project was featured in the fall issue of Home Living Connecticut Magazine, WFSB channel 3 news and NBC news.
